Build-A-Luge Appears In Xtreme Magazine

Build-A-Luge makes its first published appearance in the October issue of Xtreme Magazine. Scruples, a Connecticut gentleman’s club, posted a picture of the reusable ice luge in their Halloween advertisement. Luckily for us, this was featured on the adult entertainment magazine’s first page! If you’re in the Connecticut area on October 27th, come visit Scruples for a few shots off the orange Build-A-Luge ice luge.

Build-A-Luge For Your Halloween Party

Looking for a unique way to make your Halloween party stand out from everyone else’s? This is a main concern for most hosts, and it’s hard to find something different while still staying true to the theme of Halloween. Sure, bobbing for apples is fun, if you’re 8—so why not offer guests a more age appropriate activity with the Build-A-Luge ice luge. Here’s what you need for bone chilling shots: an illuminated ice luge kit from Build-A-Luge, and orange food coloring (or orange Hawaiian Punch).

Steps:
1.     Fill the ice block molds with water and orange food coloring
2.     Place the molds in any standard sized freezer
3.     On the day of your Halloween party, take the now frozen ice blocks out of the mold
4.     Place three ice blocks on Build-A-Luge trough & light them up!

The alcohol poured down the ice luge should be red, green, or dark in color (i.e. Jagar, Café Patron). Oh, and one more tip… if you predict the party will last longer than 3-4 hours, plan a few days in advance to make additional ice blocks and store them in your freezer. This gives you the ability to switch out ice blocks that have started melting. ENJOY!

Build-A-Luge Goes Tailgating

This past weekend we brought a Build-A-Luge ice luge to the Toby Keith country concert in Connecticut. What a hit! First, our Build-A-Luge team set up the ice luge kit on a table and surrounded it with Pinnacle vodka, Café Patron, and Jagar. Then, we let the fun begin… shot, after shot! It didn’t take long for fellow tailgaters to notice the drinking accessory. It was, of course, attracting large crowds of people who insisted on trying it out. Build-A-Luge was, with-out-a-doubt, the biggest attraction at the concert (besides Toby Keith, of course!) So… if you like tailgating at concerts or sporting events, be sure to purchase a reusable, full scale ice luge from Build-A-Luge. For an extra bonus, upgrade to the impressive illuminated version! It really creates a bold statement: “We know how to party!”
